My car is a convertible. My rear seats are from a 4th gen car and they are a one piece back to the seats. They fit perfectly. I used 3rd gen seat belts in the rear of my car.

I have a 91 Trans Am and I have 4th gen seats all the way around. They fit perfectly. I can't see that a 97 set of seats won't fit in your car.

I have fitted 2 of them in my cars over the years and both were right hand drive ( 84 Camaro, 91 Trans Am). I had no problems with fitting the bar in either car. Maybe yours had been in an accident?

I have only used Eibach Pro Kit on my previous 84 Camaro and now my 91 TA convertible. I have them all the way around and find them great. They drop the car by 1 inch.

I think it is a much better idea of cutting the lines to the radiator and installing an aux tranny cooler. I am in the process of doing that now in addition an oil cooler for the power steering.
