What do you call it?

When you have an IROC or a GTA. And your going to get in the car with someone. Do you say "let's take the camaro" or do you say "let's take the IROC"?
I'm trying to figure that out because even tho I have a GTA and I'm proud to have it. I always find myself saying "I'm going to take the Trans Am".

More of a preference question.

I usually say let's take the gray Camaro. If the weather is good and it' s got gas in it.

I have a Trans Am. And I usually refer to it as that. Only occasionally do I call it a Firebird.

Re: What do you call it?

Well, since I have three Camaros, they have to have distinctive names...

The IROC... (My 88 IROC)
The Z.... (My 92 Z28)
The SS or the 69... (My 69 SS)

So I can never say... Let's take the Camaro...

Re: What do you call it?

Seems like a pretty rhetorical question to me.

Re: What do you call it?

I never really say "GTA." Only in forums like this where people know what you're talking about.

I probably say Firebird or Trans Am pretty interchangeably.

Re: What do you call it?

Even tho GTA is shorter spelled out it seems like Trans am is easier to say in conversation. So maybe that's why I always say trans am, but if someone says "hey, cool trans am" I always correct them that it is a GTA lol
