lots use big brake upgrade, they have 3rd gen specific conversion parts. You can use C5 calipers with an LS1 setup if you want to use 12" rotors. LS conversion and caliper brackets, and C5 calipers....

Pretty sure you can run C5 calipers on an LS1 setup and clear 16" wheels. The calipers interchange, but you need the LS1 rotors and abutment brackets.

275/35/18 rear and 235/40/18 front gives you the closest to stock tire diameter. If you got wheels that wide, id bump up the tire width. 245 and 225 fit an 8" wheel

If they're Z28 wheels, like in your profile pic, they are 16". Stock size tires are 245/50/16, but that size isn't as readily avaliable as it used to be. Probably why they have larger size tires on...
