WIW... SMC Hoods
If this is in the wrong spot, please move it.. Thanks!
I ended up with 2 82-83 SMC hoods. One has the opening flaps and one is a fixed flap hood. Both appear to be complete and in good condition other than needing repainted.
What are these truly worth?
Thanks for your time.

Nobody wants to take a guess? Or is there too few of them for sale or have sold?

Re: WIW... SMC Hoods
these hoods usually stick around for a while, most people want the IROC/Z/28 hood. I picked up a perfect one for $150 since they're not that sought out. I believe the hood with the fixed flaps is from a Z28 without crossfire injection...maybe from an 84?
Post pics, most require a good deal of work given they're 20+ years old. If they're in good shape and you keep them cheap you might be able to sell them. I've never seen any sell for a high price, but then again most I've seen aren't in the best shape. If you do set the price too high, you're going need to run across someone with a 82-83 Z28 in need of a hood, which may prove tough. Just put up a price and say your open to offers. There really isn't a set price since they're not sold that often, and most aren't in the best shape.
