There was a time when you could lookup every part a particular carburetor used just by providing the carburetor number. Does such a thing (used to be a parts book) exist anymore?

The only time I had the inspection tech look for CARB EO numbers was after a recent fail; they crawled underneath to check that the cat had the required CARB EO stamps. This was with a '92 Lumina.

Reversion. Just follow the intake runner from #3. It probably ends up at #8.
I've seen a valve seat break apart on a 330ci FE Ford. I found pieces of the seat in four other cylinders.

Try comparing the "slam" when closing the door with the window closed vs. the window opened.
