Re: Iroc 5.7 vs ls

Stay with a gen 1 sbc preferably a 350. i think you will be happier and have a cheaper more simple straightforward swap

Re: More 305 to 350 questions.

Get a reman Vortec 350.Get an LT4 Hotcam. Have the heads setup to take more lift. Get headers and full 3in exhaust. Get a Holley Sniper system because it is self tuning.

With the current prices this would probably be the closest thing to buying another thirdgen i could get these days. Probably have to settle for a C4 6spd car next go round.

Re: 84 Camaro 305 to BluePrint 383 engine swap questions...help!

Change the governor out in your transmission.. Weights in the governor is what controls the shift point. A corvette governor would be perfect.

Upon driving mine more with this converter ive realized it does flash around 2200= and footbrakes around 1900. Will absolutely light those tires up with the 350 engine!

Re: Posi for 7.5 in 10 bolt 3.08:1'92 Camaro RS?

3.23 will have a different carrier. If you go aftermarket get an Eaton or Yukon Duragrip. Auburn units our cars are equipped with arent the best.

Re: Have a 350 flat tappet lo5, best route to power?

Summit K1103 or K1104 if you get a spring kit for the heads .Ofcourse swapping to Vortec heads would be great but you can get a lot more power out of the L05 with cam, exhaust, carb..etc.
