My Dad taught me that trick years ago,I did it with my bird,drank beer,listened to Pink Floyd and dubbed with other things for a few hours,haven't touched them since,worked on my 2011 F150 too.

Rides like **** with no cupholders or A/C.
Has way less horsepower than my F-150 or even the Wife's ecoboost Mustang.

I had a thick International truck exhaust donut that was the perfect replacement for my heat riser valve,got it a the flea market for a dollar,worked for years until i installed headers.

I replaced my electronic Quadrajet with a non-electronic from SMI,pretty much set the curb idle and adjusted the choke a little and haven't touched it since.

Thanks,they are 8" wide,they do make bigger ones,Jegs or Summit has them,and they ain't cheap..

The blue is a lot closer to bright blue poly than whatever terrible maui/bahama blue paint that was...

No lack of rusted out chebby trucks around here.

An FYI on the speedo cable,if you remove the first clip holding it to the subframe under the hood you gain a inch or 2 so you can unhook it from the gauge a little easier.

Here in NH,while most if not all 3rd gens are exempt from emissions testing they hold you hostage to the check engine light on any newer car,Light on for fuel gauge or any non emissions issue? too...
