84 2.8 exhaust on 91 350 swap possible

I have a 91 camaro with a 70s 350 install mated with shorty headers I was wondering would the exhaust from v6 be able to be installed onto the headers?

Get the matching brand y-pipe that goes with your headers. I don't know what size exhaust you have but if its 2.5" you would be ok though id recommend 3". If that V6 exhaust is the 2.25" I think it is just cut every bit of it out and be done with it.

Honestly I’m not sure what brand headers are on 350 but I do know 2.8 is stock.
With single to dual 2.5 exhaust

Do you guys know different between y pipes ?
is it a different flange or is there a different path design .
i have a welder and can weld. If it is minor alterations I’ll have to measure diameter but the 2.8 is still stock 2.5 I’ll have to measure the one on my 91

Depends where in NYS you live and how cool the shop is. By the letter a 25 year old car still needs the following if it came with itLow Enhanced Inspection. A "Low Enhanced" emissions inspection is required for most other vehicles, unless they are subject to the OBDII test or are exempt from all emissions inspections. This inspection is required for all vehicles from and including model year 1995 and older, through and including vehicles that are up to 25 model years old, and that weigh 18,000 lbs. or less.

Each emissions inspection for gasoline-powered vehicles confirms the presence and connection of the vehicle's required emissions control devices. This includes making sure that the vehicle's gas cap is present, is in good condition, and fits properly.

The following emissions control devices are examined if the vehicle was originally manufactured with them:
  • Catalytic converter (CAT)
  • Exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR)
  • Positive crankcase ventilation system (PCV)
  • Air injection system (AIS)
  • Evaporative emissions control (EVAP)
  • Fuel inlet restrictor (FIR)
  • Thermostatic air cleaner (TAC)

So guessing I’ll be having to take it to one of my personal shops my 91 has all emissions removed as it all carbed still has most installed as dead weight not hooked up.
hve you tried any of the eBay exhausts .
most I see don’t use the 3 bolt flange they are all 2 bolt so debating if I should swap headers too
