Front ends are completely different, not interchangeable what so ever.
Rear end can be used, but is wider by 2", so tires may rub on wheel wells depending on what you have.

Correct! I know the fuel injected unit is 3-pin (ground, sending unit, fuel pump), but I'm not 100% on the 82-84 carb unit that did not have the helper pump. Thanks!
