04 tahoe harness and ECM - Can I use?

So I've hit a roadblock on my swap, well, somewhat of one. I have a 2004 5.3L LM7 that I'm installing into my 89 IROC. The tahoe uses a drive by wire throttle body, which I do not want to fool with. Having said that, is it possible, if I run an LS1 intake and cable driven throttle body, to still use the ECM and harness from the Tahoe?

I guess what I'm getting at is can it be tuned out of the computer or reflashed? I know I'll have to change the fuel injector wires over to the LS1 connectors but is there anything else I should be concerned with? I'm running the C5 vette accesssories on the motor as well.

Trying to do this on a budget, combine my stock L-98 harness with the truck harness myself. If its not possible then I'll buy a reworked LS1 harness and computer. Just wanted some opinions from some of you experienced swappers. Thanks

Read the wiring threads laid out in the swap sticky at the top of the forum. You can use any LSx harness you like that way

he may run into an issue with the pcm though, no? I thought some of the new models don't have the drivers necessary for the iac?

Maybe, but a $30 replacement PCM is a small item compared to the job of rewiring the harness

Heres a quick pass/fail for the PCM being compatible with DBC TBs
