What are you finishing with? Heavy cutting will cause marring. Normally you finish on a white pad and a "finishing" polish.

I went from a modified stock bin using $32b, to a modified ARAP bin with $6E. Car runs great. But my idle is a little higher then what it's set for in the tune. No vacuum leaks or mechanical issues....

Same here. When the pump primes, I'll lose all my fuel pressure in a minute or two. Car always fires in 1-2 cranks hot or cold. Even if I let the pressure fall to zero before cranking.

I purchased a rebuild kit from him when I built my 427. I had a local shop install it per his instructions. 10 years later and the 700R4 still works perfectly. I like the way he sets up his specs....

You really cannot go wrong with the Hawks 17". As already stated, better tire selection, and IMO they look better. Down the road if you want to look 100% stock. Have your OEM wheels re-finished...

It's been a while. I also found somewhere in the fuse box (might have been "ign" terminal) that only got power with the car running. Used that and been fine for years.

Sounds like a tuning issue. I had an issue after my HSR install where if I stabbed the throttle from a stop, but not completely WOT, it would fall on it's face for a second. Some tuning fixed that.
