That could be what happened. All i know is that there is no such thing as reprograming a key for these cars. What could of happened is that they bypassed the system. That would explain the cut wire...

The wire that goes to your ignition cylinder is for the VATS. That was probably fooled with at some time.

You might want to crawl under and check out the condition of the exaust from the cat back. Yours is 26 years old, mine rotted out in like 8 years. Might save you some suprises when you go to do it.

Partial for the last ten years or so. In the long run if the cars only worth $3000 it does not pay to have collision. I've saved almost twice that over the last ten years.

Good luck to you guys looking for the 91-92 cut out style. By 1991 louvers were on there way out of style, so i cannot see that they sold alot. If you see them i'd jump on them at any price.
