Re: Your Convertibles

Show quality is for show cars. I need a repaint too, but not gonna do a high dollar paint. I wanna drive it and not worry about road chips too much.
Those two nuts on gfx rocker are a bit of a pain....

Nice to see you've stuck with it all this time. Definitely keep it the original yellow. Will be nice to see this when its done.

Remove the hush panel on the passenger side dash. The cable connects there to the vent it controls. Might be something binding there as mentioned.

Re: Top replacement pic overload

My 89 has them. You can see the staples at 5:48 in the vid above. They're used to hold the stay pads in place. I dont think having/not having a headliner matters.

Re: Aftermarket 3rd brake light for a 91?

Re: Rear hatch pull down bolts

They're just regular 13mm bolts, about 3/4 long. I forget the pitch, but any hardware store should have something that'll work. At least til you can locate OE bolts, if thats what you're asking.

Thats what i was gonna suggest. You should be able to grab the nut on the other side. It fits into a hexagon that holds it inplace. So it may be stripped now.
