Smaller Wiper motor

Is there a fairly direct replacement wiper motor for these cars? Basically looking for something smaller or lower profile.

Re: Smaller Wiper motor

I thought I remember reading a post about a Nissan wiper motor swap. I dont recall how "bolt in" the swap would be.

Board member and YouTube channel LSXMatt documented how he did this conversion. If I remember he never got high speed to work. Detroit speed also sells one, but is slightly more work to install. The earlier years had a smaller motor and looked better than the 90's units.

Re: Smaller Wiper motor

This thread reminded me of one posted here several years ago; the OP asked how difficult it would be to relocate his wiper motor to the rear of his Camaro. True story.

I do remember Matt doing the conversion. He may even have a video on his channel. They are a few others that done it. I think it was out of a 80's-90's Maxima.

Re: Smaller Wiper motor

I've been wanting to upgrade to the later years where the washer fluid pump is in the tank and not mounted to the wiper motor assembly. That fluid pump just gets in the way of my tall valve covers.

Classic.

That's probably for those who are inclined to do a lot of Burt Reynolds style high-speed backing up on the freeway. In the rain.
