zz-4 rods are powder metal and stronger than pink rods and the arp rod bolts help a lot. The cast crank and 2 bolt are the weak point tho. It'll be ok if he keeps it under 6500ish IMO.

Miniram is prob best match for those 210's, but you're gonna need a bigger cam to get the most outta those heads. Stealth Ram will make less top end power, but is much cheaper than the MR . Got my MR...

The problem with the short style, the engine is breathing hot air from under the hood. An intake routed to outside (cold) air is always best as long as it's big enough and the bends are smooth.

I was hoping it would run mid 7's at 85-87. It only traps 80 now. My converter is too tight (2800) but i'm gonna get it adjusted- eventually.

His original question was, does any aftermarket heads have center bolt. AFR does. If your going to spend $1000ish anyway, makes sense to pay an extra $250-$300 to get a better head. 195 eliminators...

My car turns 2000 rpm at 60 with the converter locked. So 75 would be 2500. Thats with 3.73s and 26.1 in. tall tires. Sounds like its not going into 4th.
