Re: which stall size

I use a 2800 vigalante converter. I love it. Only stalls at 2000 on the foot brake, before the tires spin, even at the strip. Might get it adjusted in the future. I had a 2400 ptc converter before, and the car would hook even with nitrous in 1st gear. (On 255/50/16 bfg drag radials) With the vigalante, i cant get it to hook at all in 1st with no nitrous.(Doing more suspension mods soon) It feels much more responsive and not loose feeling at all. I've got pretty much the same combo except for the miniram and 3.73's.Hope this helps

Re: which stall size

You may want to go with a 3K stall and perhaps change out your rear to 3.73...

If you're driving it on the street, you need a lock up converter. If not, at cruise speeds, you'll overheat the trans because you be at or below the stall speed.

Re: which stall size

i'd go with edge or vigilante myself.

dana would recommend these two companies as well.

yank is very popular w/ the 4th gen crowd. well, those unlucky ones that don't have a t-56 anyways....
