Mt et streets

I am looking at getting a set of mt et streets for the track. I have 16X8 inch rims in back. Would a 26X11.5X16 fit on the wheel and then would it fit in the wheel well without any banging?? On mickey thompson's website they say the 11.5 should not be on anything that is smaller than 8.7 inch wide wheel

some have had to clearance, some dont, its kinda a hit or miss deal it seems, but those who have needed to clearance, its minimal right by the LCA mount.

LOL, i hear ya man..

i refuse to take a hammer to my car, these, aside from 255 mickey drag radials, are about the only options that work for these cars, and my 255 mickey dr's didnt 60ft very well being my car is a stickshift

Re: Mt et streets

I run 295/50-16 (28x11.5-16) et street radial II's
http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s.../50R16&type=SS
Had to remove the bump stops and some of the sheet metal above the bumps. Also had to clearance (hit with hammer) inside the wheel well. The mods were very minor and took less than an hour. I'm running iroc 16x8's.

Re: Mt et streets

I am running MT ET streets 27x10.5x16 on my rear gta crosslace wheels and never had any rub what's so ever and I run the eibach rear drag launch springs which is about the stock height, but compresses more for the rear squat for traction.
