The 700r4 does not use vacuum.
If what you are describing is occurring on the 2-3 shift, it is classic 3-4 clutchpack failure.

Just above the pan gasket, stamped into the machined flat on the pass side of the trans is a code.
This code will tell you the model year, application, build date, and even the shift it was made.

There is not enough information in your post to do anything other than guess.
If the fluid is full, and nothing is happening in any gear, 1 possibility it a broken pump.
disconnect the trans line...

I am referring to Load Var shown in the screen shot of the datamaster log below.
This combo pegs the MAF at about 3600 rpm or so, and I do have the mass air flow vs rpm...

If you are talking about an auto trans, no.
The vette case does not have a provision of a trans mount.
They share quite a few internal parts.

Shops have a book that tells them exactly how long is typical. It is called Book Time.
If the good book says (for example) it is a job that takes 5.5 hours, they multiple the shops hourly labor rate...

The only aftermarket gears that I am aware of change first and second gear. Pretty sure you are stuck with 1:1 for third and .70 for fourth gear.
