i hate to tell u thing, but the 82 camaros didn't have an l69 option. I swapped that into my car, the l69 wasn't an option in the camaro until 83.

in all reality u could possibly lose a little on your time. yes a strong shifting tranny is good, but only if you've got the suspension and tires to prevent a strong shifting tranny from breaking...

i put in a new engine and hooked the stock trans back up. ITs a stock 4sp in a 82 Z28. The shifter is just slop now. What could be the problem, linkage hooked up wrong?
