Car: 86 TA
Engine: 305 Carbed. Mainly stock Not running
Transmission: stock
I've actually seen it in person. It does not look too bad when you do a lot of custom work. But if you just leave it stock and add that it looks bad. A buddy of mine had it on his 87 and it took a lot of work to get it to match up right. After that and some other little things it started to look good but not great.

Year one supplys that kit. Its not really a body kit, but just a front air dam, gfxs, and a longer rear bumper.

hey trans am, i really hate to break this to u, but that is the exact deffinition of a "BODY" kit.
anyways, it basically makes it look like a camaro, like some fool bought a firebird thinking it was a camaro then decided instead of buying a camaro he'd just make his bird look like one.

I consider a body kit one that replaces the front bumpers, while here you just bolt the stuff on.

I'm not too fond of it, but I like the clean look of a formula, that looks like a formula with out-of-place add-ons. Just my opinion

Though its does have a camaro TA look but a TA is a just a Firebird.
Its GM's fault but the Firebird is the main competitor for the Camaro, because they said " leave the poor Vette alone" Firebird was to be a Vette killer.
They had a good show on TV about the Pontiac division and how really different they are or were. Firebirds might as well been a Ford.
Its Firebird /TA against Camaro \Irco.
Whole reason Pontiac dropped the TTA cause it used a Buick motor, they did tweak it some but could not stand having Buick parts in it? But will let Chevy force engines on them? The 3.8 was a better motor.
There is no love in the GM brands. Pick your side and stand your ground.
Buick, Pontiac, Olds, then Chevy for me.
