starter is being a pain
alright guys, my starter is being a pain in the butt to take out. am i being dumb or is the starter reverse threaded or what is going on here. i know i'm probably being dumb, but oh well

Car: '59 Catalina 4 door
Engine: Cheby 350
Transmission: TH350
Your starter is bolted with regular direction thread. Maybe the bolts are just stuck. Anychance that you forgot that "righty-tighty, lefty-loosey"? Just kidding. By the way: if your car has an automatic transmission and factory exhaust manifolds with Y-pipe, sometimes you may have to unbolt the solenoid of the starter to snake the Starter out from under the car

the starter is just going from an engine thats hanging to the other one thats going in my car.
i had to check, just to make sure i wasn't tripping. glad to see i'm not.
