I have tried to be VERY VERY VERY clear at the caution part. If this was about a junkyard LS with a china turbo in a Japan car, I doubt that I'd get the flak.

Anyone(performance part places) who sells LS7 lifters or LS6 springs is open to possibly selling FAKES other than directly GM, even some dealerships.

It could be some rouge employee swapping parts...

If your not confidant in your ability to inspect parts. Don't buy from them! Also this applies to EVERYTHING on ebay or amazon in my opinion.

This is why I like ARP damper/balancer bolts with the square center, makes it easier to turn the engine over for springs/seals/lash. I have one of those tools the Summit version, used it for years...

Also I like the idea of a larger single roller. FYI awhile back when I had the stuff out I compared the weighs, single chain is a bit heavier than a true double roller but not much.

Good points! Never counted or considered the amount of rollers but makes sense. I like them cause GM used them in the LS and while that's not the-end-all(unknown exact reasons) it's still a good...

FYI soak the chain over night, once moving/rotating oil can't get deep into the pins/links. I'm a fan of the single rollers

I've only used/installed a Cloyes SBC single roller set myself and to be honest I never noticed. I admit that does seem strange.

Ideally you check with a modified lifter that won't compress or weak test springs. You can find weak springs at a hardware store, the comp ones are too small dia for most valve seals.
