Generic ebay Intake Manifold
Picked up a new high rise Dual Plane intake for a good price, it's not perfect but has potential! The price has gone up $10 since but many things on ebay fluctuate up n down. I'll use this intake on a truck so not worried bout hood clearance but if it was for my TA I'd prob of gotten the lower height type.

I rem when you could buy name brand intakes for $95 Course that was over 25yrs ago and it was at a local speed shop just before online orders, when we still used catalogs mostly. My friend got a Wieand dual plane for his 69 Nova with a 400 and I got a used $50 Wienad Xcelerator at a garage sale for my 68 Camaro with the first engine that I rebuilt, a flat top 355

I'm a bit older I think. My first intake I purchased was from my dad off his 57 Chevy dirt car. He had a large journal 327 with a real 69 302 high rise. All the magazines back in the late 70s said that was the best dual plane on the market.
Intake was stolen from me in the late 80s. Still irritated. Purchased a new one from GM for a bit over $500.

I remember when you could buy a single plane Eldelbrock Torker II at the local speed shops for $79 bucks. They sold blackjack headers for $39.99 (generic small block chevy) too. Not that a single plane intake would have done any good for any of my applications. But for a broke high school kid, it was nice to dream about adding useless speed parts to a LG4 with the peanut cam. The dual plane was always higher priced (maybe $99). And if you wanted the EGR manifold - break about $135 or so. All good times.
