Replacement MicroTech MAF not as good as factory Bosch unit.

I have found that the easiest way to remove the gas tank is to just go ahead and cut the filler neck.

You said the original MAF was reading 36,000, and you replaced it. What readings are you getting with the new MAF. They should read 3,000 at idle and about 9,000 at 3000 rpm under no load.

Regal 301 is the Bomb!! It was the Injectors. I had not read his subsequent post about Bosch vs. Accel, and was in a time bind so I ordered #24 Accels.

You probably win the prize. Three of the injectors ohm out at 16, two more around nine ohms, and one as low as 3.5 ohms. I guess after 229k miles, it might be time to change em out.

Update on the Redbird...

FUEL TEST: I hooked a digital voltmeter across one of the injectors, and set it on a AC Voltage scale. Then started the Bird.
Idling at 700, voltage = 0.6 to 0.8v...

way to get CO2 is to get it from a Paintball store (they sell it by the ounce). However, the local store does not have the proper fittings to get the job done.

383 with AFR heads. Weiand says that it should not be used on motors smaller than a 350.
