Re: 84 z28 transmission doesn't match 350

How rusty is the rotor, the pad could be hitting a really crusty part of the rotor.

Re: 16" 245 50 Getting impossible to find?

225 55 16 is closer height wise (roughly .1" overall), it is a very common size and I think will look much better. The 225 50 16 while close I think will look too short.

Keep in mind that even...

Re: Who Here Can Take On a Bike?

Assuming a race weight of around 3400 lbs (reasonable for a thirdgen) and typical thirdgen aero you will need around 800 hp at the flywheel to keep up with any modern litre bike in the 1/4. That...

Just the screws noted above. It may have some seam sealer under it or if it has been off before who knows what they put under it, may make it hard to remove once the screws are out.

Re: Why do third gens have different front/rear wheel offsets/track widths?

Zero offset was the "norm" at one time for NA, 60s, 70s and rear drive 80s. When most makers went FWD in the 80s they started changing the offset to what we see today and eventually phased it into...

Re: Why do third gens have different front/rear wheel offsets/track widths?

THIS!

The rears are the oddballs not the fronts! The fronts will work on all four corners and have zero offset. When on the back (the fronts) they widen the track a bit in the rear but still fit...
