Did you change the BPC - BPC vs VAC table to match? Have you checked the actual fuel pressure at various manifold pressure points? Is the VRFPR vacuum line connected to a full time port?

This is a distributor issue. No tach on dash or ALDL means that the distributor isn't working to create DRPs.

It could be as simple as the 2-wire pigtail between the coil and distributor is bad....
