I feel that my WOT tuning is lacking based on how the car drives. It runs super smooth at part throttle, but it feels like as I really lean into the throttle, it doesn't pick up as much power as it should. It's hard to tune without a wideband obviously, but I can upload my current .bin file upon request. Is there anything that people would suggest I check my tune for that can impact WOT performance?
What is your setup and your system (i.e., MAP vs MAF)?

The total .bin is attached to this message as well. All of this is being applied to a 350 .040" overbore with 10:1 compression, iron 1969 Z/28 double hump heads with beehive springs, 1.5 rockers, and a COMP 8-502-8 camshaft. It shockingly does not ping with that much spark in it, but it does see some false knock on a hard downshift when I stab the throttle, then recovers just fine.
Might want to take a look at my post on AE for MAF cars. Though as I say, keep in mind, this is coming from someone who's not as well versed in the MAF stuff and trying to correlate my 8D knowledge to the MAF AE parameters and tables.
It may be more difficult to implement w/o a WB O2, but if you operate under the assumption that the delta-LV8 MAP tables are too rich from the factory, you can start by leaning out a bit.
Basically from my experience, when the AFR drops to like 10 or 11:1 and hangs there after an AE event, the throttle can feel laggy, such that you end up with a situation like yours where you go from part throttle to full, but it feels like you're not getting a corresponding increase in acceleration. Or even low throttle to moderate throttle. When it's right, the throttle feels very linear... the more you push, the harder the car pulls and it's very noticeable by seat of the pants.
You want the AE to do it's job during the brief period of throttle transition and then get out of the way. At which point, if you're slowly increasing the throttle (vs just stabbing from 0 to WOT), then during the time you're still in closed loop between moderate throttle and WOT, you're up against what I believe to be the inverted logic of O2 R/L threshold tables during moderate throttle (as I describe in that post).
Once you get those two things nailed down (AE and closed loop moderate throttle fueling) the transition to WOT should be better. That said, I think GM kinda went a bit rich on PE as well. But again, w/o a WB, tuning all this by seat of the pants is difficult and often frustrating.

Having been in this position before I can assure you that you will be money and time ahead to wait and save up for a WB before truly trying to push the limits of spark advance and fueling to try to get more power out of your motor.
