I took the heads to a local shop and had guide plates and screw in studs installed, then I put the heads on and adjusted the rockers. If I remember correctly, the rocker wasn’t just off to the side...

Use the Hooker #16767 y-pipe, just cut the 2.5" merge end off and have a shop/welder replace it with a 3"pipe where they merge. Thats what I did.

Thanks 86LG4Bird. Even if the quality was top notch, the fact that the ratio is wrong suggests plenty. One or more tips coming off would be catstrophic, certainly not worth the saving over the Comps.
