Yeah that's what I had read etc on a bunch of builds so I'm hopefull the TPI won't limit me too much and single pattern cam will work good with those heads and intake.

I agree. I spent a fair amount of time making sure the tiger stripes were not there before I moved on to the clear/metallic over the top.

mine failed first time as well, did the tuneup thing and 02, drove it back and it passed. Mine had 135k on the catalytic so unless it melts you should be good i would think. Check the base timing...

I never checked the actual code, but the check engine light would come on when I had it jumped. there is an input from the secondary fan relay to the pcm on my car and I think it expects to see that...
