TPI on GW290hp with 113 heads....
So I have a few questions I'm hoping people here are interested in sharing their answers with me...
Background - after finishing my restore on my 88 formula I got that tinkering feeling again that I needed to satisfy.. So after doing months of reading on TPI builds using various gen1 SBC's I got the chance to buy a hecho en mexico 290hp with 10k miles on it. It was built in 1981 according to the serial for $200. So I bought it and while deciding what to actually do with it I got the chance to buy a set of 113 heads with a fresh valve job and porting for $200. That set the stage for a 350 swap for my Formula.
Currently the plan has been to strip the old heads off, check everything out, leave the cam in it and add the 113 heads with a ported corvette intake, runners. I got this far and added 1:5 roller rockers, when the engine goes in I have hooker 2055's to add.
So knowing this what are the opinions on the TPI liking this cam in this engine?
Also I should be about 10.2:1 compression with the aluminum heads do you think I can run 93octane without getting too much computer timing retard?
I have a 88 350 prom and with the MAF do you think I will need a custom prom?
I'm hoping for 350hp at the rear, is this doable with this setup?
Any other general comments that could help me along?
I know I could have gone with better heads but for about $600 total I'm hoping to add 100hp over my 305...

with aftermarket TFS heads and big cam only made 400 Hp at the flywheel with a TPI ; less driveline losses = how much at the wheels ?
FWIW;
the "Corvette" TPI intake has no difference over a 3rd Gen one except for a different EGR setup

The corvette intake does have the rear coolant crossover, 350 at the flywheel with a good cam no way your going to get 350hp at the rear wheels with drive train loss. the 113 heads like more SA tuning it when your done will be well worth the effort. With a zz4 cam and 9.5 comp I got a customers car to pick up 20hp and 40tq.

So to be clear I have the stock base mildly ported, the stock runners have been expanded to about 1.68 inches with the ends ported to remove the lips there. I also gasket matched the intake to the heads (I was surprised by how much material on the intake had to be removed)
Stock plenum and 48 throttle body.
If you had to estimate where I would be for hp? Let's use crank to eliminate the driveline losses.
Thanks for replying!

Also forgot I have a set of roller rockers 1:5 on there as well not that they would add too much additional hp.
