i just modded a set of 01 grand am dual fans to work, i had to cut the shroud for the lower hose and grind the one fan bracket to clear my steering but its dual 14 s blades, seem to do the job but...

400 is good street horse power, get a carb, rpm air gap intake and LONG tube headers, if you have a dremel port match the exhaust ports on both head and header

i got true duals with cherry bombs and a 4th gen rear, its dumped under the car and is loud all around which i like, neighbours dont, cant really have much of a convo inside unless you speak up lol

its worked awesome since i did the swap, just 3 times in the 3 months of daily driving it does it, i just used arp bolts and torque wrenches, 64cc head and stock dished pistons outta a 1970 caprice....

no dont go serp! i made that mistake and regret it! i brok my alt bracket on my serp and it left me stranded 2 times now... mind you im using a set up from a truck, just get the underdriven v belts...

with my dash i made sure to grab the main dash of course, but theres a brace you wanna make sure you grab and not leave it behind, save pigtails, the a pillar pods, the lower dash pieces, fuse pannel...

i heard and dont quote me that the 305 ho, was a mid 80s version till fi. it had the 416 heads, rv cam and the flat top alum slugs, the intakes are different as you have the tbi swirl port heads

maybe get some fans and not turn them on? at high speed might speed up the air vs being limited speed by a motor.... just my 2 cents
