It's easier to unbolt it from the pumpkin and slide it out. Trying to get the clamshell to line up in a tight space with the torque arm in it is terrible.

I found the Bosch plugs are short enough to work with my 2210s. The next hard part is getting a tool in there to tighten them. I bought the crescent pass-thru ratchet set just for this.

I can't picture in my head how the exhaust would flow and where the sfc would be does anyone have pics. Does everyone run dumps or is it possible to bring to a y and a 4" cat back.

If you've got ebl you can datalog. Check your 02 values, a small exhaust leak next to the o2 sensor will cause surging. The air you hear is just the fpr doing its job.

I have a 71 325hp 402 that I am thinking about rebuilding as my first motor. I understand that the 396/402 has a neutral crank does that mean I can use an off the shelf t56 flywheel.

I forgot about this I went to my buddies shop got ready to weld up an exhaust and got pissed off when I turned that dial and it clicked. You can live with it but its like having a non variable speed...

After you wire brush flux you cant barely tell the difference, and if you prep you're work and set it right it doesnt pop all that much.

I think OP should find a 135 or 140. I bought my miller 175...

I went throught the exact symptoms and it turned out to be and exhaust leak at the manifold to y-pipe connection on the drivers side. Just check it out even though you cant really relate the two.

The t5 uses the same crossmember as the auto, the torque arm will mount up fine. The speed sensors are way different, im sure there is a way though.

Those braces do seem week and flimsy but the whole car is. On the brace that goes from cowl to fender I can see scratches on the top of the wheel well from the tip of the bolt that holds the brace...
