I have the 1/2" love it. For the money it's hard to beat. Make sure you keep checking when you register them online they are super picky with the warranty. Mine took like 2 months to get approved...

I haven't taken apart either speedo yet, but my first guess was the gear or motor inside. I found it very odd both are doing the exact same thing though

Wow I never realized on the iroc basically everything was option you could chose I always thought there where basic packages and you could chose and pick from them.
