1991-92 GM Rear Window Louvers

One ding on driver's lower center third brake light louver, one crack on one of the mounting holes. Hardware comes as shown. $600 is my price. Would strongly prefer local pickup in Atlanta. Can ship,...

Re: Help identifying rear window louvers

No idea, these just came off a car that my work bought. They did a good job painting them though, if it's not a factory finish.

Re: Help identifying rear window louvers

Probably going to ask $500 for these local pick up, or $600 shipped, if I can verify that will cover shipping cost.

Re: Help identifying rear window louvers

Going to try to get pix today or tomorrow, this is the third worst pollen on record here in Atlanta, and they're currently disgusting as a result, so need to get them cleaned up first.

Help identifying rear window louvers

Just pulled a set of rear window louvers off a low-ish mile '92 RS that we have here at work, was looking to sell them, but I can't figure out who the manufacturer is. They're one piece, definitely...

Re: Bright RED WA 8774 Not a good match touch up paint

It's spot-on for my 1991 Camaro, at least on the panels that still have original paint. Have also used it on several 1985-92 Corvettes at my work, good match on those as well. I would guess it just...

I ended up going with Fairchild. Ordered from Summit, IIRC. Been on for about 4 years, no problems. Car is parked outside all the time.

Re: Body Falling Apart

My '91 T/A was like that when I got it, I figured someone opened the door on a high curb or something. Was able to fix it with a fiberglass patch, still holding 18 years later.

Looks like an 82-84 T/A spoiler, also used on base model 1985-92 Firebirds.

Those are the seats that came with the Black interior. They're faded, but they weren't Black when they were new either, more of a Gray.

Re: T-Top Side weatherstrip Misinformation By Major Brands

IIRC, the drains are only on the seals that attach to the body, not the t-tops themselves. Late build 1991 cars have them, as do all 1992 cars. Pretty dumb that none of the aftermarket suppliers have...

Re: What engine oil to use on a 305 (L03 engine). 1992 Firebird

How many miles on the engine? Does it smoke it all? Any oil leaks? Internal engine problems? If it's less than 100K, and doesn't smoke or leak anything, then I'd say 10W-30. 10W-40 or 20W-50 if it...

Re: 92 RS 305 TBI New Owner

Whack the starter with a hammer, solenoid could be stuck. Also check your battery connections and grounds. If that fails, I'd pull the starter, put 12V to it, and see if it does anything.

FWIW, I own an '02 T/A, '91 T/A, and a '91 RS. I *much* prefer the third gen steering wheels -- the rims are considerably thicker, and easier to grip. Plus they look "right" in the cars.

Re: 1990 Choo Choo custom FIREBIRD II with 70k miles goes for $22k at Mecum Kissimmee

1990 also had door panel cupholders; I'd guess no one ever mentions them when they're looking for 1991-92 interior parts since they hardly built any 1990 model year cars to begin with.
