knock sensor wire shielded>?

I did search, but couldn't find anything, 1989 305 TPI motor, is it shielded wire from the knock sensor to the ignition box or normal?

I got it in Dec, installed it myself, added a small aux cooler, gonna upgrade when I start towing my camping trailer.

Been in the car a year now, maybe 7k miles. Towed my 1500 lb Dunebuggy 1200 miles last summer. Really happy with it, good compression, Oil pressure and no leaks

If you have shaking, it probably put extra wear on the bearings and loosened them up. They may have been tight 2 years ago when mechanic did the work

Disconnecting battery wire while car is running will damage/destroy the diodes, bad idea. If its charging at 13.8 or so, and the battery stays charged, you got lucky.

You can buy a kit to wire up the lock up to a switch in cab. I have one on my 90 700 r4, lock up is only in 4th gear and when switch is on.

I've probably got 500 miles on my PRW 1.52's, so far so good, I imagine their qc allows a few to slip through with sloppier tolerances, price we pay for buying cheap.

It runs good, few hundred pounds lighter than a 3rd gen, good brakes, suspension, 3.73 rear gears, fairly rigid chassis, spins the 215/55/16's going into 3rd most days.
