Re: Help! Stalled while driving, was running ok

Since you're not getting spark to the plugs, work backwards. Check the the cap and rotor (carbon tracking, etc. or just replace it if its old), then coil, then power to the coil, etc. If you don't...

I've seen that post too before. Not saying it is/is not your issue, just want to make sure that is your issue before diving into the harness. Fuel gauge is likely a sticky sending unit in the tank,...

Re: Help! Stalled while driving, was running ok

I have heard of the starting issue with starters going bad. They get hot and won't engage to crank the engine, but work fine when cold. There could be a wiring issue as well.

Are there any...

Re: Are headers worth it on a 2.8?

I thought it was worth it when I put them on mine. You aren't going to see a 50hp gain or anything, but you should notice a little difference in power, sound as well.

Re: Another V6 MPFI with high idle issues :(

The reason I'd think MAF is because it's giving a bad reading when plugged in. You unplug it and it goes to a default setting. Not saying unplugging will make it run just fine, but that it makes...

If disconnecting the MAF makes it better, that's a sign your MAF is bad.

Re: Valve stem seals...

I've always just installed positive seals on both intake and exhaust valves, never bothered with the O rings. They seal better anyway. That's what most do on here too, if you do a search.

Re: Engine temp floating up and down

When driving it's easier to maintain a constant engine temp. In traffic, you have no air movement so your temp is going to go up until the fans come on and cool it back down. So yes you will see...

Sounds like the valve may be stuck. Have you tried tapping on it with a screw driver handle or something, see if it frees up and effects the idle at all?

Re: 2.8 v6 will not start

How do you know it's good if you don't know what it is? Just because you have fuel spraying out of the rail doesn't mean it's enough to keep the engine running. Get a gauge on it and check it.

Re: 2.8 v6 firing order

1-2-3-4-5-6 is correct. Double check your wires on the cap and make sure your timing is correct.

And yes, it will die if it's not getting fuel, regardless of timing.
