Re: PMD Seats

Yeah it’s insane what they pay for the seats and the N89s. The seats themselves are not at all comfortable. I’ve had a total of 6 82s. I hated the seats. They sure spend a lot of money building a...

Re: PMD Seats

They are AR9 Viscount seats, not “PMD”. They were used in 1982 Firebird S/Es and optional in 1982 Trans Ams with the B20 luxury group.

Re: IROC-Z vs Trans am GTA

That has driven me up a wall for 30+ years. I had a set of black PW7 on my black/silver 84 MSE for a while (the original N24s were gone), and MANY people called the car a GTA 🙄

Re: L98 Corvette heads in a 90 Iroc 305

There was a time when that was a very popular swap for 305 owners. They’re better than your run of the mill 416 or 601 head, and will support 99.9% of the needs of most 305s on this site. Finding a...

Re: Ford WC T5 internals into a non-WC F-body T5

Nothing is interchangeable. The bearings are different, the gears are different. Not to mention the Ford mainshaft is completely different, as well as the output spline count/diameter.

Re: 350 Build

1. The “build” sounds very mild, and somewhat mismatched. As far as the injectors go, 22-24lb to start with. More importantly, you better know how to datalog and tune, or run an EBL.

2. The stock...

No. They’re F-body L98 manifolds. This is a thirdgen site 👍 Y-body manifolds won’t come anywhere close to fitting a thirdgen.
