I have not used the LumaBase.

I would use the DP sealer with the DBC base and a good clear like DBC 2021.
With all the work, do it once. Although it doesnt make for a eazy touch up, but looks really nice.

This is a good technique. You can also use 3M Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape. It is great for door jams and under the hood and trunk.

If you are in a bind, use the one that fits best and then change the oil. Make a new mark on the dipstick at the full level.
A flexible Lokar type makes it easier to remove headers just for thought.

It doesnt say which dual plane intake, but with that hood it should fit. Holley does make a drop base air filter base just for the sniper if you need extra room.

Are you running a return style fuel pressure regulator for the carb?
Do you have 12v going to the fuel pump relay when the key is on?
Have you check fuel pressure with a gauge?

I tried to install my new Proform Polished Slant Edge centerbolt valve cover to find out my AFR heads have shallow bosses. I didnt find out untill I snapped a bolt off between the cyl #7 valves....

Looks like a great starter car.
I have been looking at the Ridler 607 polished wheels.
What is the specs on those wheel/tire package? 18x8 ?

Still using the stock TPI lines, a Walbro 255 pump would probably max out the return line or not?

I am running a return style FPR with the factory feed/return lines. I dont think the TPI pump was causing much of a spike, but the fuel pressure gauge is in the engine bay, so I can not verify while...

The carb is not dirty/greasy just some dried up fuel. I should have been running/driving it more often.

I just want to get all the varnish / dried fuel out of all the ports.

I have thought about doing this myself. If you have any dents or bad imperfections in the original paint, it will still show up with the dip.

Looks like you will have to use the #952548 with the offset inlet/outlet with 2.5.
Check out the specs for size. Sketch it out on poster board with the dimensions and try it out under the car for...

Yeah the shiny clear would reflect quite a bit. I would either use a flat or satin clear. Maybe even do a texture spray with trim black to match the factory look.
