On a 10 bolt there is a specified torque you use if not replacing the crush sleeve for proper bearing preload. I would assume the 12 bolt could be the same procedure.

I played with lean cruise on my L98 some years ago EGT got pretty high real fast. I guess that was why GM deactivated it in the software. They didn't count on us getting into programming our own....
