This will turn on the Window Down relay for 0.242s when the door is opened and will turn on the Window Up relay for 0.242s when the door is closed. The time can be...

Re: New Push Button Starter System. TGO-only discount!

Yea our system is universal. It has been installed in a all sorts of vehicle's from 1930s hot rod, a mid 90's Porsche 911 and I think even an SUV or two. The installation steps are very similar to...

I see now, Maverick. Thanks for clearing it up.

I understand the vehicles that come from the factory have this feature because of the weatherstripping interference issue, but does the issue exist...

Here are some pics of the final version. The finishing touches aren't done yet (diffusion of light, permanent assembly, etc), but you get the idea.

Hey hey hey.

We had a guy contact us wanting an illuminated STI logo in our push buttons. Apparently, he couldn't find anywhere that supplied such a service. Anyway, we agreed to do it for him. We...

Re: 1990 IROC - Push Button Starter and "On/Off" Toggle Switch

I also agree with the other guys on replacing the ignition cylinder. It is a bit daunting the first time you do it, but, all you need, besides the normal stuff, is a wheel puller, a lock spring...

Re: Mustang "smart windows" on a thirdgen

Alright, so this should be pretty easy to do. A microcontroller is not needed. A little ic called a 555 timer will work just fine.

Tell me if the following functional description is sufficient:...

Re: Push button start

Neat. Does the button control just the starter motor circuit? And can you still start it with the key or do you need to use the button to do the cranking?

Re: hvac connector pin outs (91 4 wire)

The whole circuit is: Fan Fuse, Coolant Fan...

Re: hvac connector pin outs (91 4 wire)

I just looked in my 92 manual. The Light Blue goes from the Pressure Cycling Switch to the A/C High Pressure Switch. I haven't seen anything about the Green/White, though. Ima keep looking, however.

Re: Radio Harness Problems

Have you done a continuity test for the radio circuit yet? If there is a short to ground somewhere in the circuit, that will cause a fuse to blow immediately.

Re: Blown fuse repeatedly

If there is a short, then current can flow directly from the battery to ground without anything limiting it. This means that a humongous amount of current will try to flow through the fuse. The fuse...

Also the book says that the ground connection for the map lights and the third brake light is located under the headliner near the dome light. Does that provide any clues?

Re: Dome light, trunk switch will not work--HELP!!!.....

Looking at the schematics for the 92 RS, the third brake light and the mirror courtesy lights share the same ground. That may or may not get you closer to a solution.

Re: Blown fuse repeatedly

I know on my 92, the gauges fuse feed a lot of things including the instrument cluster. If that's also the case with the 82's, you may have to check a bunch of stuff.

What have you tried so far?
