Got the replacement fender mocked up today. It took a little bit of 'persuasion' to get everything to fit correctly, but it turned out pretty well. I'll know more when I get the front end mocked up...

You have to have a connection issue between the alternator and the battery. Are you sure that's hooked up correctly? Are all the grounds made properly? I'd get a voltmeter and start testing each...
