alright guys thanks again :) good stuff . yeah i at some point i would like to get new 350 . this engine smells , smokes , hard to start when hot , ahh . for now im going to check carb for leaky...

Wow Thanks alot guys that is a lot of great info.

so it looks like im running rich and have some knock in my engine.

i have problem like that. when i start the engine and look down the carb's fuel bowl i see light smoke coming up carb's fuel bowl.

anything i should worry about?

small update:

today i gave my car to a mechanic and he will be doing some testing.

but it looks like a have bad Blow-by , runs rough, when i pull out the dipstick and oil cap it smoking badly...

Hello

I have this canister purge valve in my engine and i was just wondering if there should be gas in it or just gas fumes . it has 4 tubes coming out of it and if i unplug the bottom one it has...

yes it is purge valve not really sure what it does but it has 4 tubes connected to it and yeah when wiggled engine runs low,high ,stall . i will put in new one and see...

im not sure about that :huh: some people say that there should be no vacuum line hooked up to that sensor on L69 HO engines but should be hooked up to the other sensor on driver side. that sensor...

yeah it is pretty mint, actually it was a guy he wanted $4500 but i got him to go down to $4000 . the car was his uncle's he got old and wasn't interested in the car anymore so he put it in a garage...
