The noise you are hearing while turning is the rotor rubbing on the caliper bracket. Check to see if the rotor is perfectly centered in the bracket and adjust with thin washers between the bracket...

Looking at your pics you will definitely have to center the caliper bracket. You can use a thicker washer or you can use shims behind Ed's bracket on the axle housing. Remember with a c-clip axle...

Baer definitely made those rotors as that is the kit I bought years ago. When I bought my Extreme+ front kit the best kit they had for the rear was the 13" 2pc Eradispeed rotor with new PBR calipers....

I think Baer just sent you the wrong brackets. When I ordered my kit from them I told them I had the 10 bolt rear and they sent me brackets for the 9 bolt with the wrong holes. I just exchanged them...

I would say you need to make the hole. The resistor needs to be in the airflow to keep it cool. If you bypass it you will only have one fan speed, high.

LT1's will run hot if they have air in the cooling system. They must be bled using the factory procedure. They will not purge air like a normal SBC.

Not really a scientific measurement if you had a blown head gasket. That alone can make it run hotter. A good running car 3 inches low on water should run the same temp. The radiator just has to work...

Bad news if you overheated it and now you are losing coolant. That usually indicates a blown head gasket.
