Question about hawks A/C delete box

Hey guys i had a question about hawks delete box that i just purchased. I noticed it doesnt have that hole to put in the resistor. What do you guys recommend me doing or do i just remove it? Would i have to make a hole on the box for it? Thanks in advance!

Re: Question about hawks A/C delete box

I would say you need to make the hole. The resistor needs to be in the airflow to keep it cool. If you bypass it you will only have one fan speed, high.

Re: Question about hawks A/C delete box

so if i disconnect the resistor, the blower will still turn on but only in the high speed position? i mean i dont really mind of the speed of the blower in which i probably wont be using that much until the winter time so i guess i just leave it disconnected? i dont feel like messing up the new box and drilling thew it yet lol

The hell with buying a ac delete, I made my one from the factory ac box, still has resistor hole and looks clean, fiberglass and dremel tool are your best friend!
