Re: L98 won’t idle

It sounds like your IAC needs cleaned out. When it goes to idle, it stumbles and dies. Simple and cheap. Take the intake hose off the throttle body and spray the inside of the throttle body with...

Re: Chip/Tune after a 305 to 383 swap?

I used the original 305 chip to start with, for about a year. BUT, I used Desktop Dyno to get HP/Torque numbers. I was able to enter the cam specs, lift, etc. Then I got the head flow numbers off...

Re: HELP! with V-belt issue

The pulleys are not lined up. The alternator is too far ahead. Check the air pump also, it does not look straight (but it's close). The a/c side does look pretty good. And what is that groove in...

Re: HELP! with V-belt issue

Did you use your original pulley from your old alternator? Or the one that came on your new one. Could have a mismatch there with width and depth. Are you in alignment? Are you tearing the sides...

Re: Minor or major dent in rim? Can I still use these wheels?

The flange is definitely bent, but that is not a concern if that is all there is. (Being on the inside, you would not have to fix it.) The concern is further down. Look at the knurling, the little...

Re: 225/60/15 almost none made anymore

225/60R15 at Coker Tire for $125/ea. Is BFG Radial TA. I read somewhere Coker bought the BFG molds so they should be available for a long time since Coker make all the obsolete sizes for older cars.

Stock starter removal with SLP 1.75 headers ??

Anyone done this?
Replace stock starter on 400 small block with 1.75 SLP headers.

Looks like it will be close. Removing the clamp on the Y-pipe would give just a bit more room.
