Tire Sale--Doing quick calcs--someone knows I am sure
I have 2 cars I drive about 8,000 miles per year(total for both). I am trying to use one set of rim/tires for both. I want to use a 8 x 15 corvette rally rim on a trans am with 8 x16. I saw a pic somewhere of a Camaro with this rim, but not sure if they were 7 or 8 inch wide. Pretty sure they will fit, will be doing test fit tonight. Wondered if someone has driving experience with this setup.
Will increase tire diameter from 25.7 on TA to 26.2. The other car originally had 27.2 but now running 26.7 diameter.

The cheap 15x8 repops I had some years ago fit like a glove on my old formy.

My rims are GM, but older. The offset is less than the TA rim pushing the tire further out. Being a taller tire by 1 inch, looks like it will hit the lip on the fender. Not doing it for now till I see how close it really gets.
