Re: Someone decided to help me with some bodywork

So sorry for the waste of a Firebird but thankful that you seem to be ok. I hope you can find something nice to replace your 'bird.

Ian, have you ironed out the gremlins yet? How is the car today? Sorry for resurrecting an ancient thread.

Re: When did Pontiac stop offering Knight Rider "Turbo" Cast Aluminum wheels?

There's a guy in the UK who has reproduced the 15" Turbocast rim and the bowling ball hubcaps. The caps are made in steel and bolt onto the rim, not clipped or zip tied on.

Re: T-top car help

A while ago I had new metal channels welded in and then installed brand new rubber seals. My car is tight as a drum and bone dry in even the most brutal of downpours.

Very clean and sharp looking car. I can imagine the effort and cost that went into building this replica. Congratulations on seeing it through to completion, it looks superb.

Re: T-Top Replacement Channels for Camaros and Firebirds

They're welded to the body. The sealer is there to prevent water ingress. It's what the guy who installed them recommended. He used a black windshield type of sealer.

Re: 1983 Trans Am

Nice purchase. I like seeing these early cars and this one looks like it hasn't fallen victim to modification or molestation during it's life. I'd love to have one like it.
