T-top rust damage

Here are some pictures of rust damage that was under the seals which in some places it has gone through the sheet metal. What would be the best way to fix it? Is this a job for a body shop?

It would be a rare body shop that would take that job at a price you would want to pay.

Re: T-top rust damage

Take a look at my profile ...I have pics of the stress cracks and rust under mine....body shop fixed it right up...it costt me $800 to have the car shaved and rust repair. ..shaved door handles, key locks, antenna, mirror holes, and front blinkers, and fixed all rust...that was at a friends house. ..he lost house got a job at a body shop...friend worked on it at the body shop...welded in SFC , took car down to metal and primed..that was $1,500...

WOW ive never seen a t top area ever rust out like that W.E.G and if that happenned to mine i think I would just look for a better shell. Its just too much to trace down as if it got in there then where else did the water go to rot it out

Some cutting and grinding to get most of the rust out.

Re: T-top rust damage

Thanks again! You guys did a great job. I took it to the car wash the other day and there's only 1 spot that drips but I think it's normal there. No more full shower inside the car.

Permanent solution right here. I had my car repaired with brand new replacement channels and couldn't be happier.
