Is the whole mirror loose, they have studs/nuts.
Is the glass loose, could be the adjuster cable thingy that provides tension.

Ditto.... Went through this with my 454 in my truck a couple of months ago.
I replaced the injector.
Its like they malfunction and then finally give up the ghost. Funny thing was the bad injector...

I have stripped a few Firebirds, I take everything off and scrap the shell.
It is cheaper to get a parts car but its a lot of work. I would not count on a good motor, if it is great, but buy it...

The front is different. Nose is flush in height with headlight door on 91/92. I have good early ones but had to fix one of my later ones to install my formula bumper. It is about 2 inches taller....

I would not sand a metallic, you will cut into the flakes. I always clear after a metallic base coat.

Not in my opinion. Increasing valve spring pressures with performance cams is done to keep the valve train stable with the steeper ramps and higher lift. In my experience if they are to soft it...

Yeah that's a healthy cam. I would normally think higher pressures than they recommend, but they built the cam. Maybe see if you can time it.
I would think it may have bent some valves but you say...

I agree, maybe do a compression check and see if the valves are set right. While there is a lot of flat cam break in talk the last few years, and they are tricky, my experience is that the milder...

Still seems to be 180 off to me. The piston will still be at tdc. Maybe pull a valve cover to make sure both valves are closed.
