No kidding? My roof isn't a T-Top, but it got done in some kind of plastic. IDK if glass would be bad, my '83 TA had glass T-Tops. They were heavier, but held up well.

There is no magic in the "mercruiser" dual plane intake. Where's the before and after dyno graphs?? Why'd you use Vortec's when 113's are vastly superior to 4500? I don't get it.

That's weird. My counter shaft bearings never "ground to dust" using the recommended ATF. None of the bearings did. Not even when placed behind a T5 killing 400. Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt...

Yep. If I were putting it on my car "permanently" or long term....if it were MY intake, RTV+ paper gaskets would work just fine, I think. So far, power feels pretty on par w/the other good intakes,...

It sounded pretty normal to me. High idle when cold...slowed down to a normal sounding idle...I thought. Have you looked for vacuum leaks? Checked fuel pressure?

Pump flange is there on a Vortec block....the hole for the pump push rod is not drilled.

It wouldn't matter. Driver doesn't really have to do anything. A 9 year old could drive it into the 9's. Car does everything for you.
